Admission Policies

To be admitted to Saint Simon School applicants must have a completed application and submitted supporting documents. Applications may be submitted at any time but to be eligible for first-round priorities, applications must be submitted by December 15, 2023.

In addition, admission to Saint Simon Parish School for students entering kindergarten - eighth grade is conditioned upon the outcome of a assessment/observation session conducted by a Saint Simon Parish School administrator or faculty member.

PRESCHOOL AGE REQUIREMENT

We accept children from 2 years and 6 months of age to kindergarten entry.

Children must be toilet trained before being enrolled in the program.

KINDERGARTEN AGE REQUIREMENT

The California Department of Education requires that children be five by September 1.

ADMISSION POLICY

Priority for admission to Saint Simon Parish School and Saint Simon Little Saints Preschool is given to active families of Saint Simon Parish and siblings of children attending Saint Simon School and preschool. Appropriate consideration is given to Catholic students transferring into the parish, and Catholic students from other parishes. Priority applies to applications submitted in the first round which ends December 15, 2023.
